Building Works

The Specification and Contract Administration of Building Works

We offer a wide range of services and advice when building repairs, maintenance, alterations or conversion works are necessary.

We often advise property managers on the timing and budgeting of cyclical major works and Section 20 consultation procedures required for leasehold flats under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985.

Over many years we have developed considerable experience, working on types of residential and commercial properties. We have managed projects on historic listed buildings, mansion blocks, modern apartment buildings and tower blocks. We have worked on estates, offices, shops, restaurants and factory units on business parks.

We regularly manage cyclical maintenance and repair projects for landlords and property managers. Other recent projects have involved roof replacement, reinstatement of fire damage, concrete repairs and the refurbishment of communal entrances and passageways.

Whether working directly with property owners, lessees, or property managers, we aim to provide everything needed for the smooth management of building projects. We can assist with the entire project from the provision of initial advice, inspections, the analysis of the property and any leases; the preparation of the detailed specifications, through to the tendering and contract administration of the actual works.

We are familiar with the health and safety procedures required to comply with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 and often act as “Planning Supervisor” on behalf of clients.

See our LinkedIn and Instagram pages for examples of recent projects.
